PARENT SCHOOL ORGANIZATION (PSO) – FORMATION IN PROGRESS

The Parent School Organization (PSO) will be established by a group of parents with the objective of supporting and enriching the activities of The Olive Public School by developing effective relationships and communication among the staff, parents, and students of the school community.


Working closely with the senior management team, administration, and teachers, the PSO will organize, lead, and assist in various activities throughout the academic year. Its primary focus will be on enhancing student life and promoting a spirit of unity, cooperation, and intellectual understanding within the school community.


All parents and guardians of The Olive Public School are eligible to become members of the PSO.


The PSO Coordinating Team will consist of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, two Primary School Representatives, and two Secondary School Representatives.


However, the PSO will not duplicate the work of the Board of Governors, make school policies, or function as a grievance body.
